Rice was introduced to the game on November 23, 2010. This crop is unlocked at level 11, and costs 35 c per plant. Each plot that is seeded gives 2 xp, and it takes 2 hours to mature. Upon harvest, it gives 1 xp and 6 Rice. Each Rice is worth 9 c, making the average harvest value 54 c. This crop can be upgraded to the first star after harvesting 600 plots, upgraded to the second star after harvesting 1800 plots, and upgraded to the third star after harvesting 3600 plots. The coin bonus for each excellent plot harvested is an additional 27 c. The description reads "Get your daily dose of carbs from this fast-growing crop!".
