yesterday I talked about making profit (regular coins) with crops. Now I'm going to talk about the next aspect how to earn money with crops. Meteorgames introduced in March 2010 the feature of an Excellent Crop, which means that there is a percentual change of getting a specific amount of money back when you harvest such a crop. (The exact amount of money can be seen under the Excellent Crop site)
There is a possibility to increase your chance of getting an excellent crop by mastering the stars. Earch star raises the chance up to 10%! That means if you master all three stars your will have a chance by 30% to get some coins back! (Thats more or less every third crop on your island)
People who don't hesitate to spend Meteor Coins have the possibility to increase that rate up to 100% with following items:
- Well (increases by 25%)
- Lucky Totem (increases by 50%)
Both items will give you an additional boost of 75% including the three stars of a crop you will get 105% (but in fact 100% is the maximum). That means every crop will give you money back and this is enormous!!
I would recommend to get you the Lucky Totem first, because it costs only 50 MC more than the well but has an greater effect.
Also watch out on the Excellent Crop site, because some of the crops are really gainful because they return you more money than they cost and those are perfect if you can't harvest the next few days due to serveral reasons.
